Uniform Requirements 3rd-12th
These students are required to wear school uniforms. Uniforms provide neatness in appearance, while avoiding extremes in styles and fashions. It it the responsibility of the parent to purchase the required uniforms. These must be purchased from School Time.
Girls: Plaid pleated shirt with white polo shirt. On Wednesdays, white oxford shirt is required. Tennis shoes are not allowed on Wednesdays.
Blouses/shirts must be buttoned, except for the top button and must always be tucked in the skirt. Proper undergarments are to be worn at all times. Spandex-type shorts may be worn under skirts for P.E. or recess for kindergarten through the eighth grade, provided that they are no longer than the top of the knee. Skirts must be to the bottom of the knee at all times, whether standing or sitting.
Shoes for girls include the following: dress shoes in navy, black, brown or white; saddle oxfords; tennis shoes (no high tops); dress sandals; absolutely no flip-flops nor thong -type sandals allowed (that is, any shoe that has straps that come between the toes are not authorized).
On days when the temperature is 32 degrees or below, girls may wear leggings or leotards under their skirt. However, sweat pants are not acceptable. Elementary girls have the option of wearing the appropriate jumper. A new style jumper is available for the elementary (check with School Time).
Girls hair must be neat, clean and natural in color and appearance. Fad hairdo's, cuts, colors, streaking or chunking are not permitted. Highlights or lowlights are permitted as long as they blend with the natural color of the hair. This is in addition to the policy already in place.
Boys: Khaki pants with white polo shirt. On Wednesdays, boys are required to wear the white oxford shirt and approved tie. Dress shoes must be worn in Wednesdays.
Shirts must be tucked into pants while on or off campus. Belts are required to be worn and may be black or brown. Shoes and socks must be worn at all times and the socks must cover the ankle. Casual shoes, dress shoes, or tennis shoes are acceptable. Athletic cleats are not allowed in the classroom.
Boys hair cuts must be tapered to follow the natural line of the skull. The bulk of the hair must not exceed 1/2 to 3/4 inch at any point. No color, streaking or chunking is allowed. This is in addition to the policy already in place.
